Hello, I'm Maria, and thank you for visiting my website for considering our services!
Yes, it IS a blessing to help some of my most favourite people on this planet. They are those that get up in each moment of their day, to give to others. This blessing has been for three decades in the corporate world within the specialty of human resources and progressively over the past two decades which have been blended with a deep passion to share forward special focus to guide purpose-led wellbeing within the human dynamics of leadership and performance enhancement in relationship structures. Through insights-based cultivation and realization of authentic success, aligned engagement and healthy relationships starting from self, it is an honour to serve, witness, and co-create with compassionate people who want better across relationships and their structures and settings that matter most to them: personal/family, workplace settings, high-change environments and diverse industries/sectors including for profit, non-profit, healthcare, financial services, pharmaceutical, translations services, food service, technology, research and development, management consulting and the general public. Experiences and expressions are graces and "blessings in disguise" which help to cultivate and keep bright, a true success path from authentic leadership that serves and expands from passion, purpose in the context of love, connection and joy.
Our passion at The FACTOR OF is to help others fulfill outcomes from their truths in vitality, wellbeing, wisdom, talents and genius, for liberating exceptional outcomes borne from authentic leadership (is there really ever anything but?) discovery and re-discovery. Authentic leadership is the amazing you that shows up in the wholeness of who you truly are, for exceptional outcomes with others, time and time again. We are, after all, the common denominator in all of our life experiences and relationships, work and personal intertwined. I believe personal mastery is an essential mark to our true success in anything - sure, technical excellence or material gains come with it; but at core, it's about developing the whole, integrated Self to leverage and blend inner wisdom with technical excellence and gains desired. It's about thriving in life - about staying ahead of limiting beliefs, and getting past 'too much of what you don't want and 'not enough of what you do want'.

About Maria R. Nebres
A native South Pacific Islander of the Philippines, Maria grew up in Ontario, Canada, where she resides today. She is of mixed Chinese, Spanish and Filipina descent. Her personal journey has and continues to lead her to venturing across the world, having explored her way through the cultures of places like the Greater and North Toronto Area, Western Europe, Costa Rica, Northern California, the Mayans, Hawaii, and Arizona - and who knows from here! Bridging ancient and modern wisdom from various sacred cultures and principles, with modern forms of healing and growth being used today, she provides the space to replenish, heal, co-create, and serve forward momentum from our rightful place of wholeness and well-being within effective relationship structures and systems often calling on alignment for a common goal and purpose. And...I offer expert, guiding insights from my own journey, along with 25+ years as an HR and business leader, blended with gifts through credentials as a Certified Mindfulness Meditation practitioner and teacher for relationship structures, a Certified Consulting mindful Master Hypnotist and Teacher of Self-Hypnosis with the National Guild of Hypnotists for advanced transformation, mindfulness-based integrative techniques for stress reduction, and a specialist and practitioner in Shadow Work Mastery - all fueled by the true spirit of service anchored in wellbeing through strategic self-care, stress reduction, and performance enhancement.
I graduated in 1991 with an Honours Bachelor’s degree (focus: Sociology and English Literature) from the University of Western Ontario and soon after became a graduate student of The Hoffman Institute for Bob Hoffman's Quadrinity Process. My focus of study was within the topics of social stratification, social psychology, the creativity and “voice” of literature over the history of social challenges and developments with humankind’s evolutionary flows in societal life. I interned as a Teacher’s Assistant with focus on societal structures and systems, and its effects on social psychology and motivation for performance and conformity. This passion carried into my work experience in human resources management, within corporate settings for 25+ years and for the last 17 years now, as an evolving faith-based entrepreneur providing personal mastery coaching and consulting to leaders, business owners, and motivated individuals experiencing self-defeat, overwhelm and burnout in their business relationships, personal relationships and life transitions.
I have an affinity for co-creating with those who have experienced trauma from changes and challenges in personal and professional life, yet continue to perform so well or want 'better' in their life spaces AND are motivated to keep in their brilliance. My quest for proven strategic self-care and performance enhancement models led me to offering hypnotherapy work with leaders, managers, business owners and performance-motivated individuals. My mission is help others enhance their leading edge brilliance, effective decision making, influence and impact in professional and personal life within relationship structures where engagement and outcomes often strain meaningful fulfilment in relationships at work and personally.
Like so many, I spent my early adult years finding my 'voice', in search for that sense of balance with personal/home and professional life that could deeply satisfy my sense for wholeness. For years I was silently preoccupied with questions like,
- Am I on track...
- Am I enough...
- If I'm so smart and get things done, why do I feel like a fake?...
- How do I want my son, others, to know me, to relate with me?...
- Can I really get even better for myself and others, when I already feel worn out, worried that things will fall apart if I stop for even a moment to breath, to explore what it is I truly want?...
- Do I even know what I want, what's wrong with me?...
- Is it possible to influence and impact what I want, without burning out, feeling like a failure, or selling short on what matters most to me?
For years, I was operating from a place of surviving and keeping up with external standards and rewards. I took on more work, yet getting nowhere with peace of mind. There had to be something more than feeling 'small', chasing time and external rewards, yet not! There had to be more than feeling overwhelmed by every little thing, and working harder and more to make it all go away. I yearned for something "better", for myself and for others. While l was regarded as a high performer by employers, and those around me, it never felt "enough", like I was a stranger to myself and felt empty, lonely. Not surprisingly, relationships failed, my health suffered progressively, acquiring 3 autoimmune diseases. After a serious 'wake up call', I knew it was time to dive in and do something about it - to find my way back to this 'home' I'd always longed for, within. To claim my power, influence and impact for what matters most from a life of thriving, not merely surviving. My entrance point was to learn to breathe and exhale (really!); to pause, reset, from within; to remember that I always have choice, for better. And you know what? It gets better and better each time!
After having had enough of burnout myself, I invested in years of personal development and learned new habits, skills, and a way of life-wisdom that taps into the key source for true serving, meaning and leadership: from the whole Self and by deliberate, conscious design in the context of love and joy.

Maria’s Deliberate Design
Her deliberate design of her own life and career has gained her a clear and focused path to success while helping others, despite the challenges faced in her own life. Her success journey of personal transformation through abuse, toxic relationships and health struggles, have gracefully transformed her life and career from what she calls her “blessings in disguise.” These blessings have ultimately inspired her to learn from her challenges and transform them into valuable skills and services that have created the “why” for her service and message to others. She continues to thrive personally and professionally because of her work inner work and growth focus and is inspired to share the values of healthy mindset and relationships, passion, focus and drive for authentic based solutions to achieve success that serve all. Today, she feels continually inspired by her clients, blessed by her adult son, Josh, her circle of loved ones near and far, as she resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with her adorable pug-mix dog, Theo, in prosperity and promotion of wellbeing and thriving in life.
